My official Author website

Hello everybody,
I've just started building my official Author's website and i'm supper excited. I've already had to learn some HTML to make changes.  A little scary since i don't have that type of computer background. Anyway it will have a brief bio and some information on the novels I'm writing. I'm hoping to include some excerpts and possibly some illustrations. I also have some other big plans which will  yet be revealed... The web address will not be revealed until the site is up and running.

I feel loved!

When you start a blog there's always that weird feeling. (at least for me) that you are writing to you your self. But i suppose people have been doing that for ever, through journaling and diaries. And i did keep a journal faithfully for a year and a half in the Philippines. It still feels awkward, and i'll admit i feel a little shy, like a return to high school. But i think i'll get over it soon enough. I certainly have enough first days of school at a new school experiences to draw on. Anyway  I just wanted to thank all my friends who left comments. It's nice to know i'm not just talking to that vast emptiness that is cyberspace.

Writer's conference

Last weekend I went to a writers' conference in Utah. It was great. and i'll post more about it later. The trip has inspired me to yet again try to write a blog. I think this will be my 4th attempt or so. Anyway that is why the internet world is blessed again with my awesomeness. (please note how thick the sarcasm is) I'm setting a personal goal to post at least one a week. Twice a week for the first six weeks. Wish me luck.
